RESUMO 

o presente artigo tem como objetivo principal fazer uma reflexão sobre os agentes da catequese na vida da Igreja. Em primeiro lugar, o artigo trata da pessoa do catequista, 

principalmente no que se refere à sua vocação e missão. Aqui é possível perceber as várias formas de vocação catequética como também os níveis de atuação do 

catequista na comunidade. O outro aspecto importante do artigo diz respeito à sua abordagem sobre a formação do catequista, destacando os objetivos dessa formação, a 

formação iniciática e permanente e as dimensões dessa formação.

ABSTRACT 

This article has as main objective ta make a refíection on the agents of catechesis in lifeof church. First1y, the article is about the persan of the'catechíst, mainly regarding 

his /Iier vocation and mission. The various forms of catechetical vocation as well as the levels of acting of the catechist in the community can be perceived here. Other 

important aspect of the article concerns its approach on the forrnation of the catechist, highlighting the abjectives of this training, initiatory and permanent training and the 

dimensions of this training.
